AppEventTracker sends app-level events that are not tied to a page.

Available from iOS SDK 2.3.4. Configure NPOTag first, then get the shared tracker instance:

Call notification(...) when you want to record a notification event. The SDK does not listen for notifications automatically. notificationId is required; notificationType and notificationMessage are optional and can be omitted.

Govolte receives event_type: "notification" and these fields under parameters.notification. The event has no page context. Notification events are not supported by the Piano/AT Internet plugin.
